Because the young people we serve have little or no income we operate through the generosity of individuals in the community to keep our doors open. By actively contributing to the success of SAC, you encourage and support homeless youth in their artistic and creative endeavors. All contributions are tax deductible.

Support the Auction

Each year SAC holds a spring auction event to raise money for the center. If you would like to donate an item or are interested in helping procure items for the 2009 auction please contact Troy Carter at director@sanctuaryartcenter.org. Suggested items include:

  • Vacation Destinations (Cabins, Timeshares etc.)
  • Unique Experiences (Paragliding, Hot air balloon trips)
  • Concert/Sporting event Tickets
  • Handcrafted Art Work
  • Wine/Wine Tastings

In-Kind Donations

We are in constant need of quality art and food supplies to satisfy the needs of our young artists. Currently we are accepting in-kind donations of the following items:

  • Canvasses and Acrylic Paints
  • Jewelry Wire
  • Musical Equipment
  • Gift Cards to local grocery stores
  • Frames or Gift Certificates for framing stores
  • Stained Glass Materials

Sanctuary Art Center is a Member Agency of the University District Service Providers Alliance.

The University District Service Providers Alliance (UDSPA) is a coalition of nonprofits working together to create a comprehensive continuum of services for homeless and street-involved youth and young adults. The UDSPA helps member agencies share resources and work together efficiently while pursuing the shared mission of offering a full spectrum of compassionate, quality care and support to Seattle's homeless and street-involved youth and young adults.
